Julianne
Moore is an American actress. She has won two Emmy Awards and four Academy
Awards. Julianne was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, December 3,
1961 under full name Julie Anne Smith. She changed her name by combining two of
her first name and father's middle name so that it becomes Julianne Moore.
Julianne was married
to Sundar Chakravarthy (1983-1985) and John Gould Rubin (1986-1995). Finally she
was married to director Bart Freundlich on August 23, 2003 and has two
children.

Julianne started career in acting since 1982. She had a role in the sitcom;
As the World Turns (1985-1988) who delivered it won a Daytime Emmy Award.
Julianne's debut on the big screen through the movie Tales from the Darkside:
The Movie (1990). Her name became better known after starring in the film The
Fugitive (1993). But she was more famous after starring in the film Boogie
Nights (1997).
Julianne has starred
in many films including The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Hannibal (2001),
The Hours (2002), The Forgotten (2004), and Blindness (2008). She is also a
model of Revlon products since 2002.
Julianne won four Academy Award nominations for best
supporting actress category in the film Boogie Nights and The Hours and
the category of best actress in the film The End
of the Affair and Far From Heaven.
