Audrey
Hepburn is as an actress, model and humanitarian activist. Her full name is Edda van
Heemstra Hepburn Kathleen Rusten but better known as Audrey Hepburn. She was
born in Brussels, Belgium, May 4, 1929. She is a ballerina
before becoming an actress. She tried to continue to exist even as it grew
under nazi rule in Amhem, Netherlands during World War II.

Beginning of her first
acting career showcased theater titled 'GIGI' 1951. Two years later she acted
as Princess Ann in the film ' Roman Holiday '. Lead role in the movie, she won Academy Awards as Best Actress.
During the years 1950 - 1960 she was nominated for Academy Awards more than
four times through the film Sabrina, The Nun's
Story, Breakfast At Tiffany's and Wait Until Dark.
Hepburn's life journey
is also getting a lot of awards from the Emmy Awards,
Tony Awards, Golden
Globe Awards, BAFTA Awards and Grammy Awards. She also got a 'posthumous
award' The Jean Hershlot Humanitarian Oscar Award 1993 for her services
incurred in the humanitarian field.
From 1988 until her death
on January 20, 1993, Hepburn devoted herself as an ambassador for
UNICEF. The committee so evocative Presidential Medal Of Freedom gave
the award for her service.
