Colbie
Caillat is a singer and guitarist from United States. She was born in Newsbury
Park, California, May 28, 1985 with full name Marie Colbie Calliat. Music is
nothing new for Colbie, her father, Ken Caillat was once a co-producer of two
albums on the legendary music group Fleetwood Mac in the 1970s. She is famous
for winning the Grammy Award.

Colbir started her career in music since she showed her musical ability
at age 15 when producer Mikal Blue offered to fill the background music in a
fashion show. She later wrote a song with the Blue in 2004. Colbie released her
first album Coco in 2007 that contains a single such as Bubbly, Realize and The
Little Things. Her second album was released in 2009 titled Breakthrough and
successfully sold 4 million copies worldwide. Her third album titled Swing was
released in February 2011.
Colbie won her first Grammy Award in 2008 through her duet with Jason
Mraz in a single called Lucky. Colbie on her second album also was nominated
for Grammy Awards category of best pop vocal album.
Colbie, in 2010, got an opportunity to perform at the bestowal of the Nobel
Peace Concert in Oslo, Norway. She also has made a music video for the 25 Days
of Christmas TV channel ABC.
