Diana Krall is a pianist
and jazz singer from Canada. She was born in
Nanaimo, British Columbia, November 16, 1964 with full name Diana Jean Krall.
Diana was known after winning Grammy Award
twice.

Since the age of four
years Diana has been expertly playing the piano and began to form a jazz band
in junior high school. At the age of fifteen years, Diana has been actively
playing music at a few restaurants in her hometown of Nanaimo. At seventeen
years of Diana was awarded a scholarship to study at Berkley
College of Music in Boston from the Vancouver
International Jazz Festival.
Diana launched her
first album entitled Stepping Out in 1993. Then she released another album in
a row of them, Only Trust Your Heart (1994), All for You (1996), Love Scenes
(1997), When I Look in Your Eyes (1999), The Look of Love (2001), Live in Paris
(2002), and The Girl in The Other Room (2004).
Until now Diana has
released thirteen albums with her latest album, The Very Best of Diana Krall,
in 2007. She has twice won the Grammy Award category
of The Best Jazz Vocal Performance (1999) and The Best Jazz Vocal Album (2002).
