Jessy J is a singer
and songwriter in the genre of contemporary
British jazz. She was born in Romford, Essex, March 27, 1988 under full name
Jessica Ellen Cornish. A letter in the name stands for the popularity of jazz.
At the age of 11 years she had been diagnosed with heart failure and seven
years later she suffered a stroke. But did not deter her to excel and achieve
international recognition through her songs.

Jessy began her career in music as a songwriter
of renowned artists such as Chris Brown (I need this) and Miley Cyrus (party in
the USA). Before releasing the album, she released her debut single entitled Do
It Like A Dude in November 2010 and this single got second position in UK
Singles Charts. Then, it is followed by a second single titled Price Tag, which
managed to occupy the first position in the United Kingdom, Ireland and New
Zealand.
Jessy released her
first album Who You Are in February 2011. Her album ranks second straight UK
Album Chart. Jessy also has won the BBC Sound Of 2011 and 2011 BRIT Awards
Critic's Choice category. On October 2011 she also became a trainer in the television
event, The Voice U.K. and Jessy’s career in music
is still continued until this 2012.
