Barbara Streisand is a singer, actress,
composer, producer
and film director
from United States. She was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, April 24,
1942 with the name Barbara Joan Streisand. She is reputed to have won the
Academy Award twice. Barbara married to actor Elliot Gould and divorced in
1971. Later then she married to actor James Brolin in 1998.

Barbara started her career in music by
becoming a nightclub singer. In 1962, she was a
star in the musical performances I Can Get It for You Wholesale. Then she began
her career in acting by playing a role in Funny
Girl (1968). Then the other movies she starred were such as Funny Lady (1975),
The Prince of Tides (1991), The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996), Meet the Fockers
(2004) and Little Fockers (2010).
However, she lived more in career in music and she was a talented
singer. Her first album was
released 1963 titled Barbara Stresand. After that, her album was The Second
Barbara Streisand Album the Third Album and My Name Is Barbara considered a
classic interpretation of theater and nightclub standards.
Barbara has recorded over 60 albums. She became the most successful female singer in the U.S. and the mainstream American pop singer
of the most influential since Frank Sinatra.
Barbara has been awarded the Oscar, Emmy Award, Grammy Award, Golden Globe
Award, and a Tony Award.
