Sissy Spacek is an actress and comedian
from United States. She was born in Quitman, Texas, USA, December 25, 1949 with
the full name Mary Elizabeth Spacek. She was called Sissy by her older brother.
Spacek is married to producer and design director, Jack Fisk in 1974. She had
two daughters, Schuyler Fisk and Madison Fisk.

Spacek's career in music began while
singing and playing guitar in Greenwich Village Coffeehouses. She released the
first single titled John, You've Gone Too Far This Time. However, the single
failed so she should be removed from the record company. In the 1970's she
worked as a model photographer. Then for the help her cousin, Spacek had
starred in many films and TV comedy.
Spacek's career in acting then started
began. Some of the movies she has starred are Carrie (1976), Coal Miner's
Daughter (1980), Missing (1982), The River (1984), Crimes of the Heart (1986),
In the Bedroom (2001) and Rodrigo Garcia's Nine Lives (2005). In 2010 Spacek
released audio book of the classic novel titled To Kill a Mockinbird.
Although along 10 years Spacek had stopped starred in the film, but she
has gained achievements in the category of best actress
Academy Award in the movie Coal Miner's Daughter. She also won the nomination
from the Academy Award and Golden Globe Awards. Finally, she got achievement in entertainment after she had starred
several films in decades ago.
