Shopia
Loren is Italian actress. She was born in
Rome, Italy, September, 20 1934, with full name Sofia Scicolone Villain. She
changed its name after the release of the film Quo Vadis in 1951. Loren married
to Carlo Ponti in 1965 and had two children, Carlo Ponti Jr. and Edoardo Ponti.
In 2007, Ponti died from complications of lung and Lorena claimed not to be
married anymore.

Loren Shopia started her career in acting by starring in Aida in 1953. After
that she starred in several films that made her name more and more popular. Her
name became more popular after starring in the international film Desire under the Elms (1958), Houseboat (1958), and
Hellen in Pink Tights (1959). In 1995, Loren’s comedy titled Grumpier Old Men got
success into box office and made her name
skyrocketed in America.
Loren is one
of the most popular artists during the 1960s. Her well-known films were included
El Cid (1961): The Millionaire (1960), It Started In Naples (1960), Yesterday,
Today, And Tomorrow (1963), Lady L (1965), Arabesque (1966), and A Countess
From Hong Kong (1967). Loren won numerous awards Academy Awards, Golden Globe
Cecil B. Demile Montral Awards and World Film Festival.
