songwriter and actress
from United States. She was born in Santa Barbara, California, October
25, 1984 by Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson's real name. Katy uses her maiden name
for fear of thought similar to Kate Hudson. She was the second son of a pastor.
She is a descendant of German, Portuguese, Irish and English.

Katy had long
associated with Travie McCoy but broke up in December 2008. Eventually she
married Russell Brand on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony near
the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary, India. Unfortunately her marriage ended in
divorce.
Katy released an album
titled Katy Hudson spiritual in 2001 that are less successful in the market. She
moved to Los Angeles at age 18 and joined the Matrix team. She had recorded
three songs with Glen Ballard who received the title of The Next Big Thing by
Blender magazine in October 2004. In 2007 Katy signed a contract with Capitol
Music Group and released their first single Ur So Guy

Katy became famous
after she releases her second single I Kissed A Girl 2008. Then she issued her
first album Perry One of the Boys. Her second album Teenage Dream was released
in August 2010. All singles both topped the album charts in Billboard Hot 100.
Katy became the first artist in history to spend a
whole year, for 52 continued weeks in the top 10
Billboard Hot 100.
Katy Perry’s acting career
Katy is not only
singing and playing music only, but also she comes to acting. She had been a
guest judge on British television show The X Factor. She also released a
perfume called Purr and acting with a voice of Smurfette in The Smurfs in 2011.
