Madeleine M. Stowe is an American actress.
She was born in Los Angeles, California, August 18, 1958, and she is the
daughter of a British father and Costa Rican mother. She got married Brian
Benben in 1986 and she started her career in films
in that year also.

When she was 10 years, she began training for a career
as a concert pianist. But because the instructor's death she became
discouraged and moved on to a career in acting.
She studied cinema and journalism at the
University of Southern California (USC) for a short time then she became
volunteer work at Beverley Hills' Solari Theatre. Then she met Richard
Dreyfuss' agent who then encouraged her acting ambitions. Madeleine's name
jumped after starring in the series 'Revenge'. She played as Victoria in the
movie.
She began her career in acting by
starring in the small screen in such television films as The Deer Slayer, The Nativity, Blood
& Orchids, The Minerva Files, and an appearance on the series Little House on
the Prairie. Then she went on to do feature films work. In 1986, he played in a
low-budget action flick Tropical Snow which then released in 1989. But the next few years, she played strong
performances in films like The Two Jakes (1990), The Last of the Mohicans
(1992), Unlawful Entry (1992), playing the much sought after wife of Kurt
Russell, and Short Cuts (1993 ). Those were Followed by Twelve Monkeys (1995)
with Bruce Willis, and The General's Daughter (1999) with John Travolta. Through
those both films she earned nominations and awards for Best Actress In 2005,
she won a Best Actress Imagine Award for her leading role in the CBS TV movie
Saving Milly.
