Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, better known as
Adele, is a jazz and soul music singer and songwriter from England who has a contralto voice.
Adele was born in England on May 5, 1988. Her mother is a single parent who
worked as a maker of furniture items. She began singing at age 4 years to be a
musician obsessed. At the age of 11 years she and her mother moved to West
Norwood, south London.

Adele’s first achievement
Adele wrote her first
song at 16 years old Norwood, entitled 'Hometown Glory' which drove her at once
a famous musician. Actually she is interested in music because of Spice Girls,
but then shifts into R & B because of the influence of Aaliyah, Destiny's
Child and Mary J Blige. After graduating from The Brit School For Performing
Arts & Technology in Croydon in May 2006, she continued her musical career.
She released her debut with the title '19 'is a hit and get 4 platinum in the
UK. These are great achievements of young singer.

At the Grammy
Awards-51 in 2009, Adele won the award in the category of Best Newcomer and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Adele is also nominated for three Brit Awards in the category of Best British Female, Best British Breakthrough Act and
Best British Single. In 2010, Adele received a Grammy nomination for Best
Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Hometown Glory". Adele released her
second album '21 'on January 24, 2011 in the UK and February 22 in the United
States. The album is described as the sound of classical music, contemporary
and country.
According to the
Official Charts Company, Adele was the first living artist to achieve good performance singer
on five hits in the Official Singles Chart and the Official Albums Chart
simultaneously since The Beatles in 1964. Adele has a very fast and
great achievement as a singer.
