Priyanka Chopra is an India actress
and former of Miss World 2000. She was born in
Jamshedpur, Jharkand, India on July 18, 1982 from the couple Ashok and Madhu
Chopra Akhauri. She spent her past in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, Newton,
Massachusetts. She had ever attended college at Jai Hind College, Mumbai, but
not completed the college after winning the Miss World title.

Before
embarking on a career as an actress, Priyanka Chopra was a model. She became known after winning
the Miss World. Chopra earned the nickname ' Piggy
Chops ' because of her acting in the film Bluffmaster. She started her
acting debut in Tamil film in 2002 titled Thamizhan who plays Priya. Of the
film she gets a lot of praise for her natural acting. In 2004 she starred in
several movies, including Plan, Kismat and Asambhav. She received an award in the romantic comedy film titled Shaadi Karogi
Mujshe with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar and became a best-selling film.
In
2004, she also starred in the film Aitraaz where she served as the bad guy for
the first time. From this film she was awarded the Filmfare
Best Supporting Actress Award. After that she starred in many films with
different genres. Chopra was also the host of the reality show Fear Factor-Khatron
Khiladi Level 3 to the display on 6 September 2010, replacing actor Akshay
Kumar who hosted the previous season. Apparently the show managed to exceed the
rating as the previous two seasons.
Chopra
participated in the 2004 tour titled Temtations with other Bollywood artists
such as Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Arjun
Rampal. Chopra was awarded the 2008 National Film Award
and the Award as best Filmfire actress. Beside
as a model, on December 12, 2009 she became judge of
Miss World 2009 held in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2009 Chopra has
also served as an ambassador for UNICEF.
