Miranda Lambert is a country singer and songwriter
from the United States. She is well known after becoming a third Nashville star
finalist. Lambert was born in Longview, Texas on 10 November 1983 with full
name Miranda Leigh Lambert Shelton. She had an affair with country singer Blake Shelton since 2006. They
became engaged on May 9, 2010 and finally got married on May 14, 2011.
Lambert had started
performing as a country singer since the age of
16 years. In 2003 she auditioned and was a third finalist Nasville Star. She
released her first album in 2005 titled Kerosene. And was certified RIAA
platinum than in July 2008. Her second album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was released
on May 3, 2007. Then her third album Revolution was released on 29 September
2009.
Lambert has been
awarded with many high honors during her career including ACM Award for Top New Female Vocalist, Album of the
Year, Video of the Year, Single Record of the Year, CMA Award category Album of the
Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year. Then she got
Grammy Awards for Best
Female Country Vocal Performance, The House That Built Me and CMT Music Award category Female Video of the Year.
