Franklin is a singer, songwriter and American actress who earned the nickname as the Queen of Soul. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on
March 15, 1942 by Aretha Louise Franklin's long name. Aretha has been married
twice: first with Ted White (1962-1969) and her second husband was actor Glynn
Turman. But her second marriage was only less than one year old.

Aretha’s name became
famous for her song titled Respect (1986), from I Never Loved a Man the The Way
I Love You (1967) and song duet with George Michael, I Knew You Were Waiting
(For Me), each of which made it into the The
Billboard Hot 100. She became the second woman who achieves many Grammy
Awards after Alison Krauss. Aretha has earned nineteen Grammy Awards and
the mercy of The Living Legend Grammy and the Lifetime Achievement Grammy.
