Amelia
Earhart is a pioneer in aviation, writers
and feminist from United States. She was the
first woman receive the Distinguished Flying Cross
as the first woman fly alone across the Atlantic Ocean. Earthart was born in Atchison, Kansas, July 24,
1897 with full name Amelia Mary Earhart.
Associated with her
personal life, Earhart was once engaged to Samuel Chapman, a chemist. But
eventually she married George Putnam on February 7, 1931 in Noank, Connecticut.

Earhart saw the first plane
at the age of 11 years in the state of Iowa charitable marketplace. Her first time fly was in long beach airport
for ten minutes. Earhart then learns to be a pilot and got pilot permission
from the Federation Aeronautique International (FAI). On August 1928, Earhart
became the first woman to fly alone across North America. She also became the
first person to fly alone from Honulu, Hawaii to Oakland, California.
In 1927, she made
round the world flight attempt. After her first attempt failed due to the
damaged aircraft, she continued her second attempt. On July 2, 1937 she and Noonan
took off from Lea, Papua Nugini Pacific Ocean to Howland, but she mysteriously
disappeared and was pronounced dead. Amelia Earhart's name still
remembered as the first woman aviator.
