Rebecca
Black is a pop singer from the United States. She was born in
Anaheim Hills, California, on June 21, 1997. Rebecca was the daughter of John
Black and Georgina Marquez Kelly who is a farmer. She received worldwide
attention because of her single, entitled Friday. She learned to dance,
audition and attend music camp in school in the summer.

Rebecca’s career in music began in 2008 after joining to the
group Celebration USA. At the end of 2010 her classmate introduces her to the
Ark Music Factory. She was later released singles Friday. Rebecca became known
in March 2011 after a sigle Friday launched on YouTube and iTunes. The video became famous and be on
the top social networking sites.
Friday (2011) got a
lot of negative criticism and earned the nickname of the worst songs ever. But
the song is also able to penetrate the Billboard Hot
100, New Zealand Single Chart and UK Singles Charts, each on the order
of 58, 33 and 61. In fact, she was awarded the Teen
Choice Award for Choice Web Star and also gets nominated for Favorite
Animated GIF O from MTV Music Awards. Rebecca
now is still continuing her career in music.
