Witherspoon is an American actress. She is best known from her role in
the movie titled Legally Blonde and Walk the Line. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana,
March 22, 1976 under full name Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon. Reese comes from
a family health expert. Her father was a military ENT surgeon specialist and
her mother is a nurse who got her Ph.D. for pediatric nursing.

descendant John Witherspoon, a signatory to the declaration of U.S.
independence. She married on June 5, 1999 in Charleston, South Carolina and has
