Salma Hayek is the most successful Latin American
actress in Hollywood.
Hayek was born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico, September 2, 1966, with the
full name Salma Hayek Jimenez. Hayek is a Lebanese-Spanish descent who is
fluent in English, Spanish, Arabic and Portuguese.
She has ever made
relationship with actor Edward Norton (1999-2003) and John Lucas (2003-2004). But
eventually she became engaged to Francois-Henri Pinault, the son of French
billionaire's Henri Pinault and married on February 14, 2009.

Hayek began her career in acting since 1989 through the telenovela (television cinema) titled
Teresa. In 1991, she moved to Los Angeles to study acting and began her career in Hollywood. Hayek expectations came true; she
met with Rodriguez and his wife, Elizabeth Avellan who gave her a role in the
movie Desperado (1995) with Antonio Banderas.
Then Hayek palyed her further
role in many films that made her name more famous. Her films sre such as El
Callejon De Los Milagros (1994), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), Systole Diastole
(1997), The Faculty (1998), Dogma (1999), Wild Wild West (1999), Frida (2002),
Once Upon time In Mexico (2003) and Puss In Boots (2011).
Hayek got the most
awards in the history of the Mexican film El Callejon De Los film Milagros. She
also won the best actress nomination at the Academy
Award in the film Frida (2002).
