Vanessa Mae is a pop
and classical musician
from the United Kingdom who has ability to play the violin very well. She was
born in Singapore, on October 17, 1978 with the full name Vanessa Mae Vanakorn Nicholson.
After her parents divorced, she and her mother moved to England when she was 4
years old. Vanessa grew up in UK and got schools in the Francis Holland School
in London.

Vanessa started
learning to play piano since the age of 3 years; two years later she switched
to play the violin. Since she was in childhood, Vanessa was already frequently
appeared on TV London. She appeared internationally at the Schleswig-Holstein
Music Festival in Germany in 1988. Since that time then she joined the
Philharmonic Orchestra. When she was 13 years old she recorded her violin
concerto and Beethoven's creations together with
Tchaikowski Philharmonic Orchestra.
Vanessa was the youngest female violinist. In 1995, Vanessa released
her first pop music album with the title of The Violin
Player. She also played in the Janet Jackson album, entitled The Velvet
Rope. Vanessa was also starred films such as The Violin Fantasy (1998) and
Arabian Nights (2000). In 2006, she belonged to a rich young
artist according to a list of the Sunday Times
Rich List.
