Anastacia
is a singer and songwriter
from the United States. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, 17 September 1968
with the name Anastacia Lyn Newkirk. Anastacia is better known in Europe, Asia,
Oseana, Latin America, South Africa, and Australia. She is known to have a
strong voice that was nicknamed 'the little lady with the big voice'.

Anastacia began her career in music since 1999. She released her debut
album titled Not That Kind in 2000. Her debut single, I'm Outta Love became the
most popular singles in Australia. Her other popular single Not That Kind,
Cowboyskisses, and Made for Lovin 'You also achieve success as previous
singles.
The second album Freak Of Nature
Anastacia released in 2001 with a single Paid My Dues, One Day in Your Life,
Why'd You Lie to Me and You'll Never Be Alone. She got success of her second
album as well as her first album. Then the next Anastacia’s albums are titled
Anastacia (2004), Peace of a Dream (2005) and Heavy Rotation (2008).
She also tried to take a career in acting. Anastacia collaborated with several
artists such as David Morales, Elton John, Vonda Shepard, Faith Evans, Celine
Dion, Queen, Beyonce and Annie Lennox. She also starred in several movies,
namely, Ally McBeal (2001), I Love The '80s (2002), X Factor (2009) and All You
Can Dream (2011).
