Helena Rubinstein is
the founder and eponym of Helena Rubinstein
Incorporated. She was a queen of cosmetics world
who was born in Krakow on 25 December 1870 the Austria-Hungary under the name
Chaja Rubinstein. She was the first of eight children. She was married to
William Edward Titus American journalist in London. She has two children,
namely Roy Valentine Titus and Horace Titus. She studied medicine in
Switzerland. She combines medical and ointment formula taken from the
Carpathian Mountains.

In 1902 Rubinstein
moved to Australia and creates a store there, and then she changed her name to
Helena. In 1908 she moved to London, and opened the Salon De Beaute Valase
London. In 1912 she moved to Paris and opens a salon there. World War I
occurred when she and her husband moved to New York City in 1914, then open a
cosmetics salon in 1915. Helena Rubinstein began producing cosmetics in 1917. She
also founded the Helena Rubinstein cosmetics
Incorporated to manufacture on a large scale.
Helena Rubinstein died
on 1 April 1965. She was buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Queens. Her successful
made her to be one of the richest women in the world.
