Stefanie
Sun is a famous singer from Singapore. She
was born in Singapore on July 23, 1978 with full name Stefanie Sun Yanzi. Her
father is a professor at Nanyang Technological University and her mother is a
teacher. After graduating from St Margaret's Secondary School and Raffles Girls
School she continued her education to the Nanyang Technological University
majoring in marketing. Related to her personal life, Yanzi has a relationship
with Nadim Van Der Ros, descendants of Dutch - Indonesia, later married on May
8, 2011.

Yanzi’s career
in music is started by releasing debut in July 2000 with her first album
titled Sun Yanzi, then the next album she released were such as My Desired
Happiness (2000), Kite (2001), Start (2002), Leave (2002), To Be Continued
(2003), The Moment (2003), Stefanie (2004), A Perfect Day (2005), My Story,
Your Song (2006) and Against The Light (2007).
Although most of Yanzi songs are
Mandarin, she then also released albums in English. Yanzi become the most famous singer in Singapore. She has won major
awards at the Mandarin music world and even has received over 33 awards. Yanzi
also has twice been selected to sing the theme song for Singapore's national
day celebrations in 2002 and 2003.
