Vicki Zhao, or Zhao Wei is a Chinese actress and singer. She was born in Wuhu,
Anhui, China, March 12, 1976. She married Singapore businessman and moved to
Singapore in July 2009. She gave birth to a daughter in April 2010.

Zhao started acting
debut at the world through film La Pientre (1994). She got her first leading
role in the television series Sisters In Beijing
(1996). Her name is better known after starring in the TV
series Princess Pearl. After that, she starred in many films such as So Close, Warriors Of Heaven
And Earth and A Time To Love. She got Huabiao
Awards and was awarded the Shanghai
International Film Festival in 2005 through the movie A Time To Love.
Her career in the film made Zhao was appointed as Vice
President of Chinese Academy of Film on August 6, 2009.
Zhao is also has singing career. Swallow first album was released in
1999. There Is A Girl single became the theme song Princess Returning Pearl.
The next album released in succession Magic of Love (1999), The Last Separation
(2001), Piano (2004), Double (2005) and Angel's Suitcase (2007). Besides her
acting and singing, Zhao other activities are also a radio presenter and opera
players.
