Ellen Lee DeGeneres is an American actress
who won an Emmy Award Nomination as Best Comedian. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana
on January 26, 1958. She began a career in film since 1988. Previously she had
tried various professions such as waitress, bartender and painter, she finally
decided to try the profession as a stand-up comedian. She is pursuing her
career in comedy from small clubs which eventually led her to MC the show
Clyde's Comedy Club in 1981. She had held the title of the funniest people in the U.S., Showtime version.

Since that time then Ellen became famous. She began starring in films and
television series such as Mad About You, Dr. Doolittle and Finding Nemo. Ellen
has also won a Daytime Emmy Award and People's Choice Award 2004 to 2008.
Allen’s Love and
Same Sex Marriage
Since 2004 Ellen made a relationship with the actress Ellen Portia De Rossi
(actrees of Sitcom
Arrested Development dan Ally Mcbeal). After the lifting of bans against
same-sex marriage in California, they announced her engagement to May 6, 2008
at shownya talk show Ellen DeGeneres Show. They live in Beverly Hills with 3
dogs and 4 cats. Eventually they were married August 16, 2008 at their home in
Los Angeles.
