Anna Popplewell is an actress from
England. She was born in London, December 16, 1988 with full name Anna
Katherine Popplewell. Anna is known for her role as Susan
Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia. She
was the first child of the couple Andrew Popplewell and Dr. Debra Lomas, an
immunologist. She has two siblings namely Lulu Popplewell and Freddie
Popplewell, including the young actor who starred in the film Peter Pan.
Anna began her career since the age of six years by taking classes at the
Allsorts Drama School. She began her professional career in the Creek in 1998,
a French TV serial production. But her first film debut was Mansfield Park in
1999. After that, she appeared as a supporting actress in the film The Little Vampire (2000) and Girl with a Pearl Earning (2003)
with Scarlett Johansson. In 2001 she also appeared as Victoria in the BBC
series Love in a Cold Climate. And Anna was awarded the Cuppers 2007 for best supporting actress in a production of Of Five
Kinds of Silence.
Anna getting her first big role in the film The
Chronical of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). Then
she acted in second series of Narnia entitled The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince
Caspian (2008).
