Ryoko Hirosue is a singer, actress
and Japanese advertising star. She is known
outside the country after starring in the movie Wasabi. Hirosue was born in
Yokohama on July 18, 1980. She married a fashion designer named Takahiro
Okazawa and held a wedding on January 17, 2004. She gave birth to her first son
on April 10, 2004 with a baby weight of 3.110 kg. But on March 13, 2008 she was
divorced from her husband after four years together.

Hirosue’s acting career started since
March 1995. She was the star of TV commercials
for yogurt products branded Big Yogurt Kenko from Glico Company. Her name soared
after starring in radio call ads (pager) NTT DoCoMo (1996).
Hirosue's debut as an actress started by starring
in the TV drama titled S Ni Heart '(1995). In
2001 she starred with Jean Reno Wasabi who made her name more famous in Japan
and overseas. She has also a career as a singer.
On 15 April 1997 she started her debut with releasing the song Maji De Koisuru 5-Byo
Mae.
Hirosue got success in her career in acting
and awarded with Television Drama Academy Awards, the Mainichi Film Concours,
Yokohama Film Festival, Nikkan Sports Film Awards, Japanese Academy Awards, and
the Catalonian International Film Festival.
