Sofia Vergara is actually a Hispanic. She is Colombian
actress, comedian, television hostess and model.
She was born on July 10, 1972. Her full name is Sofía Margarita Vergara. She
started her TV career in a U.S. Hispanic Network and successfully crossed over
to the general market worldwide. Vergara was married to her childhood
sweetheart in her age of 18 and they gave birth to their first son Manolo
Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara on September 16, 1992.

In the late 1990s, Vergara had been widely recognized as co-hosting two
television shows for Univisión. Then she got her television
career raise up and got her first notable acting
job in English in the film Chasing Papi (2003).
After that, she got many acting offers that mean she started her big career in acting. She appeared in films including
two Tyler Perry films; Meet the Browns (2008) Madea Goes to Jail (2009), and
some others. Through those films, she received an ALMA Award nomination.
Vergara's success on television has earned her
roles in the recent films that all of them are popular including The Smurfs
(2011), New Year's Eve (2011), Happy Feet Two (2011) and The Three Stooges
(2012).
Vergara also popular debuted in a Diet Pepsi commercial with David
Beckham in April 2011, and she again appeared in the same commercial in January
2012.

by receiving nominations for two Golden Globe Awards, two Primetime Emmy
Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Comedy Actress. And you
know what; she is the executive producer of the
Spanish version of "Desperate Housewives." Her career shows that she
